Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website and application at pedagiq.com (the “Service”), operated by Pedagiq (“Pedagiq”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a school, coaching institute or other organisation, you accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Pedagiq is an AI-powered teaching and learning platform that lets teachers create assessments and teaching material, students practise and learn, and institutions manage their teachers. Features rely on artificial intelligence and may be added, changed or removed over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

3. Roles and responsibilities

Teachers are responsible for the content and conduct of their sessions and for handling their students’ data within them. Institutions are responsible for the teachers they invite and manage. Students are responsible for their own practice activity. Each user agrees to use the Service lawfully and respectfully.

4. Subscriptions, trials and payments

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Your content and AI output

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as topics, questions and answers). You grant us a licence to host, process and display that content as needed to provide the Service, including processing by our AI providers to generate results. AI-generated content — quizzes, explanations, study notes, analyses and reports — is provided to assist you and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it. The Service is a teaching aid and does not guarantee any particular grade, outcome or result.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, is owned by Pedagiq and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and no rights to our intellectual property beyond that.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services (for example, for payments, hosting, AI features and sign-in). Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pedagiq will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, ₹1,000).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Pedagiq harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — will continue to apply.

13. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. For material changes to these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, any disputes arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
