Consent Notice & Cookies
Last updated: 28 July 2026
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we give you this notice so you can make an informed choice before you consent to us processing your personal data. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which has the full detail.
1. What we process, and why
With your consent (and to provide the service you request), we process:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Name & email | Create and secure your account, and communicate with you about it. |
| Phone / WhatsApp (optional) | Provide support and share important service updates. |
| Profile (school, class, board, subject, role) | Tailor quizzes, content and analytics to you. |
| Answers, scores, practice, study notes & progress | Provide assessment, AI tutoring, analytics and reports. |
| Subscription & payment reference data | Manage trials, subscriptions and payments. |
| Technical & usage data | Keep the Service secure and improve it. |
2. Cookies and similar technologies
- Strictly necessary cookies: used to sign you in and keep your session active. The Service cannot work without these, so they do not require consent.
- Analytics: we use tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track children for advertising.
3. Your choices
- You can accept or decline optional (analytics) cookies through your browser’s cookie controls.
- You can withdraw your consent to processing at any time by contacting us or by deleting your account. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some or all of the Service.
- You can exercise your rights — access, correction, erasure, nomination and grievance — as described in our Privacy Policy, and you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
4. Children and students
Where the person consenting is a child (under 18), consent must be given by a parent or lawful guardian. Teachers and institutions who enrol or invite students confirm that they have obtained the necessary consents.
5. How to manage or withdraw consent
To give, manage or withdraw consent, or to raise a grievance, contact our Grievance Officer at privacy@pedagiq.com. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
